Bob Boesen, owner and president of Boesen Homes, LTD, began building homes in 1979 in the Beaverdale area of Des Moines. He later branched out and began constructing single family homes and townhomes throughout the entire Des Moines area and western suburbs.

Today, Boesen Homes delivers customer satisfaction through new home construction and land development, focusing on mid - to upper-sized homes from 2,500 to about 5,000 square feet.  Boesen Homes focuses primarily on residential real estate, although some business is commercial.  Past homes have been built  in the local developments of Country Club Glen, Robel Century Run, Glen Oaks and Walnut Creek Hills. Currently Boesen Homes are building in Berkshire North, Berkshire Summit, in addition to more homes in Walnut Creek Hills. 

Today, as always with Boesen Homes, customer service is the company’s top priority, making sure that every client is happy with their new home.

In 2009 Barrett Boesen, Bob's youngest son joined the company. Barrett graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance and will be a welcome additon to the family business.
